Eglise Pelicier

Emmanuel Church Pelicier was built in 2000 and is the closest of our five satellite churches to the main campus. Tucked up the mountain and reached by rocky roads, this humble church gathers faithfully for worship every Sunday. Like our other churches, Pelicier faces urgent needs—both in building repairs and within the community itself.

Give a Child Their First Classroom

One of Pelicier’s greatest needs is the reopening of its kindergarten program. This program once provided early childhood education to many local children, but the building has not been restored enough to resume classes. Because Pelicier is so remote, and no other kindergarten options exist nearby, young children are left at home with no opportunity to begin their education.

The community of Pelicier would be deeply grateful for your prayers as they navigate a very difficult season, much like the rest of Haiti. Any support is appreciated, and no gift is too small to make a meaningful difference.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good…”

Current Church Needs

updated April 2026

  • The church currently relies on a very noisy generator for electricity, with unsafe and exposed wiring.

  • Installing wrought iron window coverings would provide a durable, long-term solution for security and stability.

  • There is a small home on the church grounds that requires restoration and repair.

  • The church property needs to be fully enclosed with proper fencing, including restoration of the existing wall and the addition of a secure gate.

  • The church would benefit from a fresh coat of paint to restore and brighten the space.
