Our heart is to give every child the opportunity to grow, thrive, and step confidently into the future God has planned for them.

Welcome to ECCBH!

Welcome to Emmanuel Children’s Center of Bombardopolis Haiti. What began over 40 years ago as a small orphanage has grown into a ministry serving children and families throughout our community. Today, we support our orphanage, College Evangélique Baptiste Emmanuel, seven churches, our dental clinic, the wider community, and our widows ministry.

Partner with us in transforming lives in Bombardopolis Haiti. A general donation strengthens every part of our ministry and helps us provide care, stability, and hope.

Through our unwavering commitment to these principles, we aim to create a brighter, hope-filled future for every child we serve, empowering them to make a positive impact in their communities and the world at large. Our foundation is rooted in Christ’s love, and our vision is a world where every child knows they are valued, loved, and capable of achieving their dreams. We believe that by investing in their lives today, we are strengthening families, communities, and generations to come—and we could not do this without the faithful support of a village that stands alongside us in prayer, generosity, and love.

Statement of Faith

We, as a community of believers at Emmanuel Children’s Center of Bombardopolis Haiti, affirm our unwavering faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, grounded in the truth of the Holy Scriptures. As a Christ-centered nonprofit ministry, we are committed to living out these beliefs in all we do—our mission, our programs, and our relationships with others—seeking to reflect God’s love and grace in the world. We believe the following:

Making Disciples

  • We believe in the one true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As Scripture declares in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

  • We affirm that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. As Scripture declares in John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

  • We believe in the miraculous and virgin birth of Jesus Christ and in His sinless life. As Scripture affirms in Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel,” and in Hebrews 4:15, “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.”

  • We affirm the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. As Romans 5:8 declares, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

  • We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. As Ephesians 2:8–9 declares, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”

  • We affirm the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day. As Luke 24:6–7 proclaims, “He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you, while He was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’”

  • We believe in the promised return of Jesus Christ as King and Judge. As Revelation 22:12 declares, “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.”

  • We affirm the divine inspiration, inerrancy, and authority of the Holy Scriptures as our ultimate foundation for faith and practice. As 2 Timothy 3:16–17 declares, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

  • We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission given by Jesus in Matthew 28:18–20. As He declared, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

We strive to instill in every child a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ, empowering them to become disciples who carry His love and teachings into the world.
