Eglise Lariolè

Nestled at the base of a rocky hill, this once small and remote church began in 2022—built by faithful hands using trees, tarps, and palm leaves. Though poverty has deeply impacted this community, the people here are among the most hardworking, grateful, and genuine you will ever meet.

Faith Made This Possible

For three years, the church faced ongoing structural challenges. Yet each Sunday, their faith and love for Jesus rose above every hardship, filling this humble, handmade space with worship, joy, and unwavering hope. With limited resources and little funding, Emmanuel Lariolè has struggled to rebuild—but the spirit of the people has never wavered.

In 2025, God did something beautiful. The community came together—many hands, united in purpose—to build the structure of a new worship space that will impact lives for years to come. What now stands is more than a building; it is a testimony of faith, perseverance, and the power of unity.

While the structure is in place, there is still much needed to complete it. The church is in need of windows, doors, benches, and a finished stage to fully serve its congregation.

This is truly a special place—surrounded by steep hills, where many walk long distances just to attend church, gather water, or reach the market. The journey is not easy, but their faith remains steady and strong.

"But the one who endures to the end will be saved."

Matthew 24:13

Current Church Needs

updated April 2026

  • The church is currently without doors and would greatly benefit from added protection and security. It needs 3 metal doors and 2 wooden doors.

  • While the fresh air is a blessing, the building is in need of nine metal windows for safety and protection.

  • The space requires paving, plastering, and leveling to create a stable and finished foundation

  • The church is a large gathering space, and many benches are needed to help fill the house and welcome the congregation.

  • To complete this renovation, a fresh coat of paint would be a tremendous blessing, bringing color and life to the space.

  • The church is in need of a reliable generator, safe electrical cords, and speakers to support larger gatherings and services.

Every repair tells a story of

faith, resilience, renewal

2022 Remote Dental Clinic at Lariolè

In 2022, we were given the opportunity to set up a mobile dental clinic in a very remote area at one of our Emmanuel churches in Lariolè. Though the team was small, we truly lived out the saying, “teamwork makes the dream work.” By bringing portable dental equipment and a small compressor, we were able to provide dental care to more than 50 adults and children in the community—many of whom were receiving dental care for the very first time.

During this 12+ hour day of service, four of the oldest teens from our orphanage stepped up in remarkable ways. They assisted the two hygienists by helping set up the clinic, seating and dismissing patients, providing dental education, and offering hands-on support wherever needed. One of our core values is teaching our children the importance of serving others, and seeing this value lived out so beautifully by our older teens was truly heartwarming.

It is our hope to continue hosting Mobile Dentistry Days throughout the northwest region of Haiti. With your support, we can keep bringing relief, care, and smiles to some of the most remote communities in the country.

Fellowship with Missionaries

Through fellowship with visiting missionaries, this church has experienced the beauty of believers coming together across cultures to worship, serve, and encourage one another. When mission teams have traveled to this community, they have not only come to give—but to sit, worship, and build meaningful connections with the people who call this church home.

On these special days, the church becomes even more alive—filled with shared songs, prayer, and a deep sense of unity in Christ. During one such visit, the team had the opportunity to bless the community in a tangible way by distributing Bibles and providing food to families in need. These moments go far beyond a single day of outreach—they leave lasting encouragement, strengthen faith, and remind this community that they are seen, supported, and deeply loved.

Fellowship like this continues to plant seeds of hope, reminding everyone involved that the body of Christ is not limited by distance, but united in purpose and love.
