“In Haiti, the church stands as a lighthouse—shining hope where darkness tries to take hold.”

In a country where voodoo has long been predominant—especially in the remote regions of Haiti—the Lord used Emmanuel in extraordinary ways. Over a span of 35 years, Emmanuel helped build 38 churches. Achieving this during a time when water was difficult to access, construction materials were scarce, and the only transportation to the Northwest was a grueling 12-hour land journey is nothing short of a testament to God’s provision.

Each of these churches was built by faith—born from a desire to follow God’s call and bring the Gospel to those in need. Emmanuel stepped in wherever there was a pastor willing to preach but lacking the resources to build a gathering place. Every structure was raised with one purpose: to expand God’s Kingdom and bring light into communities longing for hope.

Total Churches Built: 38

Emmanuel Évangélique Baptiste Church and its five satellite churches stand as pillars of hope and faith within our community, yet their mission is challenged by limited resources and the deep poverty that surrounds us. For generations, these churches have faithfully served both the spiritual and practical needs of our people, but they are now in urgent need of significant repairs and renovations to continue their vital work.

These historic churches have withstood the test of time—offering solace, guidance, and support to countless individuals and families. But years of economic hardship have taken a visible toll on their buildings. Roof leaks, crumbling walls, and outdated facilities are making it increasingly difficult for these churches to operate safely and effectively, threatening their ability to continue serving as beacons of hope.

We extend a heartfelt invitation to partners and supporters who share our commitment to strengthening the community and preserving these cherished places of worship. Your partnership can help restore these sacred buildings and ensure they continue to shine as beacons of hope, comfort, and spiritual nourishment for generations to come.

Together, we can renew these churches—not only as physical structures, but as vibrant centers of worship, fellowship, and community support. By investing in their restoration, we equip them to continue their vital ministry, meeting the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of those they serve.

Join us in this meaningful work as we restore these churches and revitalize the communities around them. Your support can make a profound and lasting difference in the lives of those who depend on these sacred spaces for guidance, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.
