Emmanuel FondMa was build in 2001 with the mission to help others. Located many miles away from our main campus, we knew the community needed a small satellite church to attend. There is one main road to get to Emmanuel FondMa campus, and when it rains, it creates a challenging obstacle for the community to reach the church. This does not stop this tight knit community from attending the house of the Lord to praise Jesus every Sunday.
There are many ways you can support the Emmanuel FondMa campus. The church building is near collapsing, it needs significant structural repairs. There are several families within the church community that have medically complex children, support for these families is welcomed. Our pastors are struggling just like much of the community, their support through sponsorship and guidance is appreciated. We would love to see Pastors from around the world come to Emmanuel FondMa to preach and build connections with our staff. Emmanuel FondMa has a special place in our hearts here at the orphanage. One very special little boy came from the FondMa community in 2023. Prior to his arrival at the orphanage, we supported this boy and his grandma for many years. As they struggled with severe poverty, his grandmother came to us asking for food on multiple occasions. She was the only known relative left in this boy's life, and she was determined to provide and care for him. As he experienced many medical complications with his leg, we prayed over him and asked for support towards his medical bills. God watched over this little one and brought him home to our orphanage after his grandmothers passing in 2023. |
During a visit in October 2023, our pastors expressed their concerns for the progressing structural damage to the church. Safety is top priority, and the many cracks pose a fall risk for their elderly. The roof is nearly collapsing, putting guests at harm every Sunday. We pray that by spreading the word about this very special church and community, we will cross paths with those wanting to support Emmanuel FondMa and watch it grow and expand over the coming years. Displayed below, are images taken October 2023 of the damage to the building. The are many projects to be done with a building this old.
